Amazon is a better long term hold I and a couple friends are holding Amazon, MSFT and Google as strategic long term holds. All of them have businesses outside of AI and can survive if the bubble pops! I keep telling everyone Amazon is undervalued right now, and a better strategic long term hold. What do you think?

AMZN earnings next week is the report I'm watching most. Everyone will headline the retail numbers, but AWS growth and ad revenue are the whole story for me — ads have quietly become one of the best businesses in big tech. If AWS re-accelerates, I don't think the stock stays this cheap relative to the other mega caps f…
Amazon’s Dark GPUs Expose AI’s Hidden Infrastructure Cost The company is purchasing billions in Nvidia server racks it cannot power, and has no signs of bringing online, stretching cash flow and challenging the return on its massive AI bet. A peculiar scene is unfolding in Amazon’s vast logistics network: thousands of …
AMZN just jumped 5% because MS gave their stock an upgrade. Considering a single investment bank can manipulate the stock price of a $3 trillion company, why is it legal for IB's to do so? Today, Amazon's stock price jumped 5% today because of an "analyst" upgrade from Morgan Stanley. How can a single investment bank's…
Wednesday’s hyperscaler capex guides are a seesaw, bad for the spenders, potentially great for chips. Most of the coverage I’ve read frames 28 October as a Fed day with some earnings attached. I don't think the FED has much impact on equities, prediction markets and OIS pricing have a hold at 3.75 to 4% north of 90%, a…

Earnings this week Why is everyone expecting Google, Amazon and Microsoft to dump after earnings? All three report this week, and a rally barely seems part of the conversation. People point to Meta dumping despite great earnings. But last quarter, Google reported first and dumped, yet Amazon and Microsoft still pumped,…
The bear case for retail in the last 20 years has been: what happens when Amazon comes into the space? People forget that Amazon came after ETSY about 10 years ago with "Amazon handmade". It was a flop, apparently as I haven't heard of it in years. Kind of an interesting bolster to the strength of ETSY.
Yeah Meli’s business in Brazil is centered around chopping trees down in the Amazon. Special short bus take there.
Meta Q4 calls Just how I predicted on my last post meta dip today due to capex concerns and dilution. Which I don’t understand, Zuck already has a massive control over the company but now is diluting it with class C so they can fund their CAPEX. This is actually good, meta posted a negative FCF quarter yesterday which …
